When you make an enquiry, you will get advice on the most appropriate survey for you. We will provide a quotation which is bespoke for your property. Should our quotation be acceptable, we will confirm instructions and make all the arrangements for access to the property.

We undertake independent Full Building Survey reports on a wide range of residential properties including modern bespoke houses through to large historic country houses and most properties in between.

An RICS Level 3 equivalent Building Survey Report will cost more than some other types of survey, such as an RICS Homebuyer Survey Report, but it will give you more detail on the state and condition of the property, which you’ll find of great value when assessing if it’s the right property for you.

Stephen Forde has in excess of 30 years’ experience as a Chartered Building Surveyor in Exeter and throughout the southwest, and he undertakes all of our survey inspections. Our RICS level 3 equivalent survey reports are not generated using standard paragraphs or phrases generated by software. Stephen will be available to discuss the report both before the inspection and after it has been published.

In our surveys we endeavour to report using plain English and clear terminology and we aim to provide cost guidance for any significant defects or unplanned maintenance anticipated over the next 5 years.

We can also provide specific defect advice and in some circumstances we can create a bespoke scope of survey if you have specific requirements.
